ABOUT ME (THE UNHINGED VERSION)

Hi, I’m Anna Banana (Peelz if you’re not into full government names).

 

I grew up in Tampa, with learning disabilities, attention problems, and a brain that absolutely refused to color inside the lines. This led to a deep love of art, psychology, and… a short-lived but ill-advised career choice involving cocaine sales. character development,

 

Eventually, I packed up my chaos and moved to West Virginia, where I did the responsible thing and opened a tattoo shop instead.

 

I’m a psychology graduate from the University of South Florida, which means I’m deeply fascinated by the human psyche and I can read the room when someone says, “I think I want a skull, but like… happy?”

 

I opened Nemesis Tattoo & Art Gallery in Charleston, WV in 2017, later expanding to Nemesis in the Holler (now in Hurricane, WV). Somehow, against all odds, this worked out.

 

Tattoo-wise, I love sticker, glitter, and stitch-style tattoos, and anything weird, playful, or slightly unhinged. I’m also a painter and I design custom 3D prints, because apparently one medium was not enough.

 

I can tackle most tattoo styles (with a few hard no’s for my own sanity), and I’m big on collaboration, originality, and making art that actually feels like you.
